The U.S. Department of Energy’s Integrated Strategies Office is hosting the 2023 Clean Energy Jobs & Workforce Accelerator Workshop in Los Angeles, California, on July 19-20, 2023.
The purpose of the workshop is to seek stakeholder input on how the Department of Energy (DOE) could fill gaps in economic and workforce development efforts to ensure historic investments in clean energy result in high-quality, accessible careers.
Workshop participants will have the opportunity to:
- Learn about DOE’s interest in advancing economic equity in clean energy
- Offer ideas on how a program could be developed to benefit workers, communities, and industry
- Connect and network with others in the growing field of equitable clean energy development
- Visit with local training partnerships that are advancing job quality and job access in clean energy sectors.
